The North
Carolina Standard Course of Study (SCOS) as
developed by the Department of Public serves
as the foundational scope and sequence for
the curriculum and instructional program at
Ridgecroft School. The state has aligned its
educational goals and objectives with
research and national standards. In some
cases, Ridgecroft School has reorganized
and/or extended goals and objectives to
provide the teachers at Ridgecroft School
the best possible instructional situation
and the students at Ridgecroft School the
best possible education.
For each
course, a guide is provided that lists the
goals and objectives for the course and the
suggested pacing for the instruction.
