PATHWAYS FOR
MIDDLE
SCHOOL |
|
Middle grades are
important foundational years. All students
have a seven period schedule and take
required courses in language arts, math,
science, social studies, computer, and
health/PE. The math pathway allows two
options and enrollment in the accelerated
courses is depending on grades and study
skills. The Language Arts classes in grades
6 and 7 have been double-blocked with one
session devoted to Literature and the other
session devoted to Grammar. There is an
emphasis on reading and writing in both
blocks. |
