Grade 6 Language Arts- Spiral
notebook, 2-pocket folder,
loose-leaf paper, composition book
for writing, #2 pencils, colored
pencils (small pack), dry erase
marker. Dictionary and thesaurus at
home.
Grade 7/8 Language Arts- 1 1-inch
binder with dividers, loose-leaf
paper, pens/pencils, dry erase
maker, small sock to use to erase
board, colored pencils,
highlighters. 7th graders bring box
of tissues and 8th graders bring
either box of tissues or bottle of
hand sanitizer. Students should have
access to dictionary and thesaurus
at home.
Grade 7 Life Science- 1 1/2 -2" three-ring binder, loose leaf
paper, pencils or pens, book cover,
small box of colored pencils.
Request donations of box of tissues,
roll of paper towels, box of latex
gloves for dissecting in biology,
plastic containers of any size.
Grade 8 N.C. History- 1 loose-leaf notebook
(three ring binder), college ruled
paper, one dozen #2 pencils, one box
Kleenex or one bottle of hand
sanitizer, black or blue ink pen.
Students should have access to
dictionary at home.
Johnson's Math Classes- 1 1/2-2
inch three ring binder with tabs,
loose leaf paper, graph paper,
pencil (lead refills) "hole band aids",
book cover, a simple four function
calculator.
Algebra I, II, and Precalculus
Classes- NEED a TI84 or TI84 Plus
Silver Edition Graphics Calculator
with extra batteries. Ok if you have
TI 83.
Students grades 4-12 recommend to
have 1 Zip Drive.
Art Supplies-Sketch book, art
box/container (make sure it's easy
to store, easy to carry, and lid
stays on tight), box of pencils,
regular rubber erasers, white
plastic eraser, glue, scissors,
color pencils, crayons, markers, dry
water colors (cakes in a tray),
paint brush set, old t-shirt, craft
paint (acrylic type for wood,
ceramics, general use-red, yellow,
blue, black, white), color permanent
markers (extra blacks), liquid ink
pens (black)
Grade 6, 7/8 Band- Blank paper,
pencils, reed players will need to
have 4 working *reeds in their
cases, *metronome, *tuner,

(usually included with rental
contract), instruments (will arrive
in August in rented through music
